Melvins to Attempt Guinness World Record
The fastest tour ever of the USA

Beginning September 5 in Anchorage, Alaska, sludge metal veterans the Melvins will attempt to set the Guinness World Record for the fastest tour ever of the United States (and Washington, D.C.) by a band. (Lots of Guinness World Records action these days.)
The Melvins will hit every state in the U.S.A., as well as Washington, on a 51-date tour that ends October 25 in Honolulu. Before that, they've got even more tour dates, in the U.S. and Canada, through July.
All of these dates will feature the "Melvins Lite" line-up of Buzz Osborne, Dale Crover, and Trevor Dunn. The trio's debut release Freak Puke is out today.
